The Mar Thoma Church of New Jersey was born in 1981, when a handful of Malayalee families gathered in Morris County longing for a spiritual home rooted in their heritage. Today, over 100 families call this sanctuary home — a place where the songs of Kerala rise beside the sounds of the American suburbs.
As part of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, we trace our roots to AD 52, when St. Thomas the Apostle brought the Gospel to the shores of India. That light still burns here — reformed, alive, and welcoming you.
