Parish Ministry · Serving Morris County Since 1981
A church commanded to go out — into communities, into suffering, into the margins of the county we call home.
Our Heritage
When Metropolitan Titus I led the nineteenth-century Reform, one conviction stood above all: the Church had grown too inward. The Reform demanded that the Church go out — into communities, into suffering, into the margins.
That impulse produced the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association (1888), the Maramon Convention (1895), and a network of hospitals, schools and community development projects across India that still serves millions today.
Our Mission Activities committee asks one question before every initiative: what would Jesus do in this ZIP code? That question has driven food drives, hospital visits, community clean-ups and emergency care in Morris County for over forty years.
"What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly."
Micah 6:8What We Do
Parish volunteers collect non-perishables for food banks across Morris County — most recently over 800 pounds distributed to three local banks.
A visitation ministry at Morristown Medical Center, established in 2012, bringing prayer and presence to patients and families.
Clean-ups, seasonal drives and partnership with Roxbury Township social services — practical service to our neighbours.
A parish relief fund, established during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing confidential assistance to families in crisis.
Reaching Further
Diocesan Partnership

Soup Kitchen · Newark, NJ
Operating a Soup Kitchen in Newark in partnership with local Catholic ministries — offering meals and dignified service to those in need in our community.
Dover, NJ
Partnering with Market Street Mission in Dover, NJ — a Christ-centred rescue mission serving men and families experiencing homelessness and addiction recovery.
Lighting Lives Since 2017
Initiated in October 2017 under the vision of Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos, Light to Life is a diocesan programme that sponsors the education of underprivileged children. Our parish actively promotes this ministry, with Mr. Alex Mathew serving as our dedicated parish promoter.
In 2025, our parish supports 67 children through this programme — providing school fees, books, uniforms, and essential supplies to children who would otherwise have no access to education.
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:16Within Our Parish
Our parish family is a community of mutual care. When any family among us faces a season of hardship, we come alongside them — practically, prayerfully, and confidentially.
Assistance is available for housing needs, educational expenses, and medical care. Applications are received and handled with complete discretion through the parish office. No family need face a crisis alone.
